At GaPac CFCU, we are pleased to offer a product and better way to serve you. In April 2008 eligible personal checking accounts were introduced to Overdraft Advance. This service allows GaPac CFCU to pay an item presented for payment against your account when it causes the account to become overdrawn. While it is not an invitation to overdraw your account, it is an added layer of safety should the account become overdrawn.

Overdraft Advance authorizes a $500.00 overdraft limit to your personal checking account. If your account becomes overdrawn, each check or debit transaction will be paid up to your $500.00 limit, subject to the requirements stated on our “Overdraft Advance Disclosure.” Your account will be assessed an overdraft advance fee of $20.00 for each item we pay. (Fee subject to change with notice.)

An application or signature is not required in order to add this new safety measure to your personal checking account. If you have overdraft protection arrangements already in place, they will be activated before Overdraft Advance. Below you will find a link to our "Overdraft Adavnce Disclosure" with all of the details about this new protection service. The disclosure also includes a waiver to "opt out" if you so choose.
